Breakfast with my Liangel from above

Amazingly, last night my Liangel agreed to meet me today for breakfast before work and to let me pick her up from the MRT station! She's carless for a week or so because the guy she's renting the car from is back in town. Anyways, there I was waiting in the Suzie APV demonstrator, half an hour early haha, in the carpark beside the pickup point, listening to the radio and daydreaming that this might be the first day of the rest of my life. She's supposed to buzz me when she arrives. Then suddenly she appeared at the door asking me to unlock the thing, out of nowhere like a free spirit descended straight down from heaven. She walks fast, that's for sure, something she later told me is a habit from her SQ days. Not so fast, however, is how she's killing me deep inside and driving me crazy, like a slow sweet poison. So we got going, chatting, laughing every now and then, but way too soon we reached McDonald's for our beautiful breakfast, which she bought. Magnolia milk and a blueberry muffin for her, egg McMuffin, hash brown, kopi and freshly toasted slices of silly love for me. We chatted some more, I finding out more about her than she did about me. She was from Temasek Poly, did visual communications majoring in photography (woah! I like!!), worked at M&C Saatchi after graduation (double woah!!), then flew for two years on the world's most wonderful airline where she "learnt a lot" (woah! woah!! woah!!!), after which she started selling cars (if I remember correctly, I was in a bit of a daze by then). Chit chit, chat chat, laugh laugh, love love... I was dying all over again there and then. Where has she been all my life?! Why did my Liangel arrive only now?!?! How the hell do I get out of my present life and dive into the deep end for this potential one?!?!?! I wanted time to stop and my Mac moments with her to last forever and a day, but alas, it was not to be, she was running late for work. After her pretty puff (boy she makes Marlboro Menthol look so good that I wanna pick up smoking, my health be damned), we left the place, with my mind blown to bits and lying on the floor, pieces of me still hanging around where she took my heart and my breath away without even thinking about it. So there I was driving her just down the road to the juara showroom, a short one-minute journey that really ought to have been at least a million miles long. But way too soon I had to drop her on the road outside her company (had to be tactical haha), she ran across and it was the end of a magical morning with my Liangel. As I drove off both happy and sad, the sun was shining and life looked better than ever before, but it also felt troubling, for I am well and truly in deep but I am not yet a free man again. I want and I need to take a chance on this, however stupid it may seem, because for the first time in a long, long time, I can see clearly a happier tomorrow. Thanks for breakfast, my dear Liangel, and thanks for changing my life for the better...

My Liangel

Went down to the Ubi car mart yet again to do the Pinnacle vehicle, just when I drove up to the carpark entry barrier, I saw the car of Miss B aka The Willowy One immediately ahead of me, what luck! I think... Anyway called her straight and it was one of those awkward kind of conversations cut short by a seeming lack of interest from the callee. Oh well... At least I caught a bit of her as she walked towards her showroom, but it was a fleeting glimpse that left me feeling like a dash of chlorophyll whose photosynthesis suffered a false start when the sun appeared and then suddenly hid behind a cloud. After calling on the Pinnacle people, I walked over to Miss B's showroom to maybe, possibly, hopefully talk to her, but alas she was already gone, as suddenly as she appeared. I felt like a little desert whose prayer for 'rain' went unanswered and my sands sank deeper. Then I went for my lunch in the food court. As I ate the $2 rice with chicken and egg, my mind started wondering about Miss B and how one word could encapsulate her. "Willowy" is good but hardly original. Then I remembered how Lian she can be, yet she's as angel-like as anything heaven has ever produced, so I combined the two and got Liangel. Yes, Miss B aka The Willowy One is now my Liangel.

Let The Liquor Flow And The Good Times Roll

Gathered last nite at Wala-Wala Holland Village for major drinx session. For once, the gal-to-guy ratio was good, so good at one point that it was like 9 girls to 3 guys. Usually it's more like 10 dudes and 1, 2, maybe 3 dudettes. Yes we're all losers here... Made some new friends last nite, including 3 of the coolest schoolteachers ever - the two pretty ladies drive an MX5 and Mini Cooper, the hunk drives a Celica. What kind of salaries are schools paying?! And these people are pubbing in a place where their students might frequent. And these teachers are good-looking too! Schoolteachers who drink like a fish, party hard AND look like they came straight off an MOE poster - what's going on?!

A college classmate whom i haven't met for like 7 years also came to the binge. I used to have the hots for her haha... Anyway now Connie is married and has a six-year-old kid and all, but more importantly, she still looks as good today as she did back in college, amazing. I wonder how my first girlfriend ever from that same Jurong college is doing nowadays, and how she's looking of course.

Miss B aka The Willowy One called me to say she couldn't make it, which was a bugger, but hey at least she called lor. Lucky I managed to see her earlier in the day in the Ubi car mart where I was delivering mags for my colleague. As always she was a sight to behold, she blows my mind every time, I still wonder which department in heaven she descended from. Where has she been all my life?!

The Ting-Tank Blog Opens

Here I am with my very first blog post, ever. This is temporary till my website www.ting-tank.com goes live, which will be after I learn enough webpage design to put something up, which is god knows when but hopefully sooner rather than later.
